Married⁵¹⁴³ 1913 Dec 21⁵¹⁴³ at Pope Co., AR⁵¹⁴³. The marriage license for Carl Bideler and Bessie Fitzgerald was issued⁵¹⁴³ Dec 20, 1913.

Carl listed his full name, William Carl Bideler, on his WWII draft registration¹⁷⁰ card.

William Carl Bideler married⁵¹⁴³ Oct 2, 1948, Logan Co., AR, Virgie Pillgreen, age 39. Both Carl and Virgie were residents of Paris, AR.

Although the marriage index⁵¹⁴³ for Carl Bideler and Bessie lists her surname as "Fitzgerald," she appears in other records as Bessie "Fitzjurls." E.g., the Social Security application³³⁴⁶ for Trueman Carl Bideler lists his parents as William C Bideler and Bessie A Fitzjurls. In 1900⁵¹⁵⁰ and 1910⁵¹²⁶, Bessie resided with her parents, William T and Lavina Fitzjurls.

Carl and Bessie apparently were divorced prior to 1935 as Bessie Bideler married⁵¹⁴³ Aug 17, 1935, Logan Co., AR, Bill Burnett, age 41. Both were residents of Paris, AR.

In 1940, Bessie resided⁵¹⁴² with her husband, William T Barnett, son Truman Bideler, and Bessie's mother, "Luvinia Cotrrell." The 1945 WWII registration card¹⁷⁰ for son Carl Trueman Bideler lists Carl's address as 1122 S Vine St, Paris, Ark., and the person who would know his address: "Mrs Will Barnett" at the same address.

On March 30, 1960, Bessie A Fitzjurls, age 61, married¹¹⁹² Lester L Watson, age 71, in Fresno, California. The birth announcement for Betsy Jane Bideler, daughter of Carl Trueman Bideler of Port Arthur, Texas, mentions grandparents Mrs Lester Watson of Fresno, California, and John Cardin of Paris, Arkansas.
