F G and Betsy Eberhart appear²⁹⁰² in the 1850 census for Penn township, St Joseph Co., IN, with several children, among them, Frederick, age 15, born in New York. A biographical sketch for George Frederick Eberhart, starting p 674, Memoiors of Indiana⁵³¹⁴ provides Betsy's maiden name and birthdates for most of their children. Their marriage date and place is assumed from the birthdate and place of their oldest child, Jacob Weltner Eberhart, born Mar 11, 1819, Greenboro, Pennsylvania.
