Married2072. The marriage license application2072 for George E Seybold and Grace M Phillips lists George's birthdate as 1884, and his parents as Arthur Seybold, deceased, and his mother as Elizabeth Eutzler.

The death of Arthur T Seybold was reported by the Mishawaka Enterprise and carried in other newspapers5377 5378. In October, 1877 ("Sunday of last week," reported Sat, Oct 29, 1887), Arthur T Seybold, son-in-law of George Eutzler, and Arthur's brother-in-law "Ein" Eutzler, went out hunting on the farm of George Eutzler. The two had halted for a rest, and were conversing about the proper size of shot each was using. Arthur reached to pour out a few shot for comparison, his gun slipped from a log and discharged into his right breast. He gazed at his companion, rose and turned as if to go home, and dropped dead in his tracks.

The death certificate4633 for Elizabeth Eutzler Griffis lists her as the widow of Lewis E Griffis; her parents surnames are given as Eutzler and Vesey, both born Ohio. The informant for that certificate was Miss Ester Griffis. The death certificate4633 for L Esther Griffis lists her parents as Lewis Griffis and Elizabeth Eutzler. Considering that information, one finds, in 1910, the family of Louis C Griffis, age 52?, born Michigan, was comprised4663 of his wife: Elizabeth, age 55, married twice, b Indiana, both parents born Ohio; daughter Lettie E (Esther?) Griffis, age 15, born Ind; Anna A Griffis, age 13, born Ind; and step-son George Seybold, age 26, born Ind.

The marriage license application2072 for George E Seybold and Grace M Phillips lists George's birthdate as 1884, and his parents as Arthur Seybold, deceased, and his mother as Elizabeth Eutzler.

His full name appears221 on his WWI draft registration card. His wife, Mrs Grace M Seybold, is mentioned on his WWI draft registration221 and as the informant for his death certificate.
