The headstone840 for a George Hoyer in Union Valley Cemetery, Cortland Co., NY, reads: "George Hoyer / Died Nov 11 1867 / Aged 28 Years / My Husband." The approximate birth year (1839), death date and location of that headstone, and Marion Hoyer's marriage to Arthur Veazie in 1868, make it possible that that George Hoyer was Marion's husband.
