The will of Joseph Crosby (Mass. Wills & Probate Recs. 1635-1991, Suffolk Co., img 482; www.ancestry.com), dated 26 Jan 1769, mentions wife Ann Crosby, his "eldest Dau: Abigail Bass," Samuel Bass Junior, and granddaughter Sarah Savil (otherwise identified as the dau of Samuel and Abigail Bass). Samuel Bass died841 Mar 14, 1807, Quincy, MA, at the age of 83.
