In 1850, Wyckoff resided⁵⁹⁹³ with his parents (James M and Margaret), and siblings Urania and Edwin.

In 1880, Wykoff' mother, Margaret Wixson, age 60, b New York, widow, resided¹⁰⁸⁴ with Wyckoff and Martha Wixson.

A headstone⁸⁴⁰ in Grove Cem., Bath, NY, reads: “Wyckoff S Wixson / 1844 - 1896 / Martha A His Wife / 1850 - 1918 / Irwin / 1893 - 1894.” The New York Death Index⁵²⁷² for the year 1896 lists "Wickoff Wixon," died 16 Aug, Bath.

In the 1910 census¹⁰⁸⁵, Martha Wixson is listed as widowed, mother of 2, 1 living.

Child 2. Irwin

As Irwin appears on the gravestone⁸⁴⁰ with Wyckoff and Martha Wixson, he is assumed to be their son. It is assumed he was born in New York as his parents appear in the 1892 census for Bath, New York.
