The will [New York Wills and Probate Records; www.ancestry.com. Images of will: Orange Co., Vol E, pp 252-254] of Joseph Jones, signed 23 Sept 1814, mentions wife Sarah; daughter Phebe; grandson George Mac Kinny; three grand Children Sarah Ann Benjamin and Rebecca Fraser (when they arrive to lawful age); sons Samuel Benjamin and (youngest son) Walter; (eldest) son Samuel had received out of his estate. Though daughters Susan and Catherine are not specifically mentioned, grandson George Mac Kinny is assumed to be the son of daughter Susan by George McKinney; and grand-children Sarah Ann, Benjamin and Rebecca Fraser are assumed to be the children of daughter Catherine by (unknown) Fraser. N.B., Albert Fraser, which family history has as the son of Catherine, is not mentioned. Catherine is said to have died in 1812, and Albert, if that history is correct, would've been mentioned if he were alive in 1814.

At this time, no documents have been found indicating Sarah's parents, and unsourced references are cited for further research.

Among misc. information⁵⁸³² regarding the Jennings family is a reference to records of the Presbyterian Church (assumed from context to be of New Windsor, NY) is "Sarah Jennings to Joseph Jones of Cornwall Apr 28 1783," possibly Donermeyer's source for Joseph Jones' spouse, and their marriage date.
