About April, 1899, "A. J." Bideler filled the position⁵⁰²⁷ of night operator at Corning (NY), for the D L & W (Delaware, Lackawanna & Western railroad).

In Oct, 1899, Arthur Bideler was appointed postmaster for Coopers Plains. The Buffalo (NY) Courier, Sat, Jun 4, 1904, reported that, in Corning, Jun 3, Arthur M (sic) Bideler "of Cooper" would succeed Decatur M. Sayles as the agent of the D. L. & W. R. R. Company (Delaware, Lackawanna and Western). In 1910, Arthur is listed as railroad agent, residing in Mt Arlington, NJ. In 1920, he was a telegraph operator in Union, OR. In 1930, still in Union, OR, he a depot agent.

Jennie's middle and maiden names are taken from her death certificate⁵⁰¹⁵. The informant for that certificate was her daughter, Mrs Lura Tularski. Jennie died at the age of 87y 10m 16d of chronic myocardial disease, and hypertension. That certificate also stated she had been in Reno, Nevada, for 10 years; her physician stated he had attended her from 1943 through Sept 12, 1952.

In 1938, Jennie¹⁷⁰⁵ is listed as "wid A I (Bideler)". Jennie's obituaries^{5014 5127} have her death as Friday, Sep 12, in Reno, Nevada. She was to be buried next to her husband, Arthur L. Bideler.

Her obituary⁵¹²⁷ relates that she came west in 1900, making her home in Oregon, and then in Washington. She moved to Reno about 1942 to live with her daughter, Mrs Denton. Mentioned survivors were: Mrs Millard Stearns of Nampa, Ida., Mrs Lura Tularski of Reno, a brother Charles F Lewis of Ocean Beach, N. J., and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

At the age of 10, Walter died⁵⁰³⁰ while playing with his father's shotgun in the ice house behind his house.
