Mrs Devore was the matron of honor. In 1940, Waldemar was an inspector for a wholesale packing company. He and his family lived at 1214 Sixty-Fourth St. His parents and sister Marjorie lived in the same house.

In the wedding announcement2747 for Elizabeth and Waldemar, Elizabeth's parents are mentioned as Mr and Mrs C R Gibson of 6815 Racine Ave. The 1930 census1389 for Chicago lists Charles, Lena, Elizabeth and Charles Gibson at the same address. She lived with her parents (apparently) until her marriage to Waldemar.
