The birth record⁸²⁵ for son Edward Reed Veazie lists his father's birthplace. In 1870, Edward may be listed both in Camden, with his father and mother, and also in the household of his uncle Samuel M Veazie in Rockland. In 1877, he was a salesman¹⁷³⁵ at 325 Main, residing at 1 Maple, perhaps the residence of Samuel M Veazie. Genealogy⁶¹¹ of Matthew Fuller has married 1860, obviously an error, perhaps typographical.

The birth record⁸²⁵ for son Edward Reed Veazie lists his mother's birthplace. In 1892, Mary resided⁴³²⁶ at 31 Middle st, Rockland. In 1920 and 1930, Mary F Veazie is living with her son Edward R Veazie. In 1935 and 1938, in the Rockland directory, Mary F Veazie, widow of Edward L, resides 31 Talbot Ave, the same address given for her son, Edward R Veazie. In 1940, Mary F Veazie, age 87, resided with son E R Veazie, mayor of Rockland.

Child 1. Frank

Frank's death record²⁴⁸⁹ gives cause of death as accidental drowning. Dow has Frank Fuller Veazie, burned to death in power boat, a student at that time. The Lockport (NY) Journal, Mon, Aug 10, 1903, relates that the boat in which several students of the University of Maine (Frank among them) were taking a trip caught fire. The students abandoned the launch but four of the students drowned. Later it was found that the top of the gasoline fuel tank had been left open. Frank's mother, Mary, in 1910, is mother of 2, 1 living (Edward). Frank Fuller Veazie is listed (books.google.com) in the Catalogue of Beta Theta Pi, Beta Eta Chapter, University of Maine (Orono).
