M. Cloyes of Boston, to Miss Adrianna M., daughter of the late Captain John Veazie. Boston papers please copy."
George married first, Angelia M Weeks, born about 1837, the daughter of Ezra and Hannah Weeks. One month after Angelia's death, George married second, Adrianna Veazie.
The Mass. Death Index796 lists George M Cloyes death in 1924, Somerville (v72:281).
Adrianna (AKA "Addie") resided with her parents, later with her widowed mother, until (at earliest)1860. In 1870344, she resided in the household of Sarah Cates; Addied was listed as a bonnet maker that year.
Adrianna's birth place is listed855 in the marriage record for Adrianna and George, recorded in Boston. Adrianna and George apparently had no children. Adrainna is listed in the census records as mother of none.
As late as 1924, George and Adrianna resided1735 at 43 Madison, Somerville, MA. George is listed in the 1925 directory1735 for Somerville. That listing apparently lists only heads of household, so it isn't necessarily an indication that Adrianna was not alive that year.
However, the Boston Globe, Fri, Apr 4, 1924, reported the death of Adrianna M Cloyes, wife of George M Cloyes, in "Somerville." The Boston Transcript, Apr 14, 1924, carried a death notice4225 for Mrs Adrianna M Cloyes without further information.
