John spent his life as a ship carpenter. In 1910, he has his own income and is a widow. He doesn't seem to appear in the 1920 census records.
In 1900, Deborah is listed as being the mother of 8, only 4 still living.

Child 1. IdaIn 1920, Ida is a hospital chambermaid in the Trinity City Hospital, Quincy, MA. In 1930, she is a chambermaid in the Quincy City Hospital, which appears to be the same address as Trinity City Hospital.
