The Portland (ME) Press Herald, Jul 11, 1950, mentions Mr and Mrs Wesley Ryder and daughter Sari, Brockton, Mass, and Mrs Effie Veazie arrived in Rockport where Mrs Ryder and daughter would pass the summer with Mrs Veazie.

In 1920, Mary's age (as of 9 Jan) is enumerated as 3 years 6 months. In 1935, Mary E Veazie, student, is listed in the Rockport directory at the address of her father and mother. In 1938 and 1939, same address, she is a stenographer. The Portland (ME) Press Herald, Aug 18, 1949, mentions Mr and Mrs Wesley Ryder returning to their home in Brockton, Mass, after a visit with Mrs Effie Veazie, Rockport.
