Howard and Mildred were married by Rev. Charles L Durgin, of Freedom, NH. Intention was filed Oct 10, 1935.

In 1930, Mildred resided with her mother, Elizabeth, Elizbeth's second husband Earnest Hannon, and their family. She is listed as a saleslady at a drug store. Early in the 1930s, she married Dr Howard Childs, whom she had met in Washington, DC, and married. She and Dr Childs moved to Bristol, ME, in the mid 1930s. Dr Childs died prematurely in 1938 and she married second, Mar 24, 1940, Dr Clyde A Berry. He was an osteopath, born in 1907 in Canada.
