Joseph Crosby was born4816 the 12th month of 1638, in Cambridge, MA, to "Symon Crosby and Annah his wife." N.B., the reference4816 to "Early Records of Boston" is actually a collection of early (transcribed) records from several locations in the Boston area.

"Mr. Joseph Crosbey died November 26, 1695."2852 His gravestone reads4817: "Here lyeth ye Body of Mr. Joseph Crosbie Aged 56 years, died November ye 26, 1695."
