Betsey Vesey certainly married2070 Alden Copeland "of Braintree, Vt." However, other information regarding that Alden Copeland is circumstantial. E.g., Copeland5231 (referenced also by Hillman800 has an Alden Copeland, son of Joseph Copeland, born Orange County, Vermont, Aug 23, 1801; Copeland has that Alden Copeland married Rachel Flemming. It may be that Betsey (Vesey) Copeland died following their marriage, and Alden remarried. Several records for the children of Alden and Rachel (Flemming) Copeland (as listed by Copeland) corroborate Copeland's information.
Alden's birthdate and place, and deathdate and place, are taken from Copeland5231 as it seems likely Betsey Vesey's husband was the son of Joseph Copeland, considering the date and place of Betsey's marriage to Alden. That is also apparently assumed by Hillman800
As no records for Betsey (Vesey) Copeland are found, following her marriage to Alden Copeland, and it is assumed Alden married second Rachel Flemming5231, her death date is assumed from the birthdate of James Harvey Copeland, the eldest child of Alden and Rebecca (Flemming) Copeland. That date, Jun 17, 1835, is given by Copeland5231 and corroborated by the death certificate (Ohio Deaths, 1908-1953; familysearch.org) of James Harvey Copeland, which lists his parents' names.
