Aaron married first Betsey Hunt and is living with her and their family in censuses 1850 - 1870. He had (at least) 4 children by Betsey.

At the time of his 2nd marriage to the somewhat younger Sarah, Aaron was a carpenter. They were married by Rev J C Foster.

Aaron (married) died⁸⁵⁵ at the age of 72y 18d of enlargement of his heart and liver. His death record lists his parents as "Thomas & Sarah Hale."

Charles Prescott, s of Aaron and Betsey, enlisted with Company I, Mass 42nd Infantry Regiment on 18 July 1864. He mustered out 11 Nov 1864.

Sarah was age 41 at the time of her marriage to Aaron.
