Stanley's full name is given on his WWI draft registration. Stanley's obituary¹¹⁰⁴ (unkn newspaper) has "10-30-74" handwritten on it. The obituary states that Stanley died "Sunday." Oct 27 was the Sunday previous to 30 Oct 1974. In addition, the Social Security Death Index and an index of Florida deaths indicate that 27 Oct is correct. Stanley's headstone¹⁰⁷⁷ has his death date as 2 Nov 1974 (Saturday).

Clyde died¹⁴⁴¹ at the age of five when he fell beneath the wheel of a log truck that he was riding with his sister Georgianna and brother Kenneth, driven by George Reed.
