Warren's last name appears variously in references as Barkley, Barcley and Barclay. His draft registration221, in his own handwriting, has Barclay. In 1900, Warren was a farmer. In 1918 and after, references indicates his occupation was locomotive engineer. The draft registation indicates he worked for the New York Central Railroad.

Anna's burial information1164 indicates her maiden name is "Bey." That record and various census records indicate she was born 1882. In 1900, Anna Bey, born Feb 1882, is residing with her father George Bey, born in Germany, 1835. In 1880, George Bey, born 1835 in Alsace, is living with his wife Salome, their children, and mother-in-law Saloma Eisenschmit. Anna was one of at least ten children.
