ISAAC VEAZIE (son of Stephen Veazie, Sr.) was born 5 Nov 1806a, prob in Mainea. He died after 1880f probably in Corinna, Maine. Following the publishment in Corinna of an intention to marrya on 26 Feb 1829, Isaac married first 16 Apr 1829a LYDIA KNOWLESa in Corinna. She was born 12 Oct 1805a,k, the daughter of SETH and AMY KNOWLESl and died 5 Jul 1839k. Following his marriage to Lydia, Isaac lived his life in Corinnab,c,d,e,f. In 1850, shortly before his father, his brothers Laban, Stephen and Alden, and his sisters Martha and Mary Jane emigrated to Caton, New York, JAMES SEWELL, James' wife and Isaac's sister MARY JANE VEAZIE, and his nephew CHARLES E. SEWELL lived with him and his son ALVINc. Following Lydia's early demise and sometime before 1860, SABURY E. COLE, about Isaac's age, began keeping house for Isaacd; it might appear that sometime before 1870e, she and Isaac married. However, in 1880f, Sabrah Cole is living in a poorhouse so it is the 1870 listing may be misleading. In any case, she may be the Miss SABRAH COWAN whose intention to marry JONATHAN COLE, both of Corinna, was publisheda 26 Jan 1824, the marriage taking place 10 Feb 1824a. She died probably before 1880f.
