STEPHEN VEAZIE was born 6 Nov 1779, in Portland, Maine, the son of John Veazie and Rachel Jones. He died Sep 1812 at sea aboard the Dart privateer. He married 20 Oct 1805, in Portland, SARAH (SALLY) BEEMAN, her first husband. She married second George D Plaisted, who drowned near Campobello, Maine. She went to live with her daughter in Bangor, Maine, where she died. Unless otherwise noted, information is based on reference a.

v. ADRIANNA VEAZIE [a], b.[c] abt 1815; d.[d] prob. bef. 1900; m.[a] 9 Jul 1834 in Eastport, ME, GEORGE W. MERRILL, b.[c] abt 1811; d.[d] prob. bef. 1900. George and Adrianna resided[c,e,f] in Bangor from no later than 1850 to 1880. George was a cabinet-maker, furniture dealer and, eventually, manager of a furniture factory.
