David was a farmer.

David Bideler died5036 "of a paralytic" attack at his residence near Cooper's Plains, aged about 74 years. He had been a farmer for many years in the valley of Mead's Creek. He was well thought of by neighbors and friends. He was survived by his wife and five daughters: Mrs Alonzo Davis of Reading; Mrs Charles H Waterhouse; Mrs C H Veazie of Cooper's Plains, and 2 unmarried daughters.

The 1885 obituary2511 for George Bideler, David's brother, mentions the "late David Bideler, of Mead's Creek." Mead's Creek was a small community on Mead's Creek Road (Steuben Co., NY), about a mile north of Cooper's Plains.

In 1900, Anna resided1189 with her daughter Ella Peterson, Ella's husband Stephen, and Ella's sons Theodore and Floyd.
