Eva's maiden name is listed in Emma's marriage record²⁰⁷² to Clyde Riley. An obituary for James Mast in the Record-Eagle (Traverse City, MI), Jan 22, 1963, born Dec 12, 1889, in LaGrange, Inidiana, to Mr and Mrs Jonathan Mast, mentions a surviving sister "Neva Vesey" of Goshen, IN. James Mast, born Dec 1890, is then found as the son of Jonathan and Margaret Mast, in the 1900 census for German, Indiana. In 1880, Jonathan and Margarette Mast are found in Middlebury Twp, Indiana, with a daughter Emma Evalene, age 1.
