Married¹⁷²⁸ 1915 May 6¹⁷²⁸ at Painted Post, NY¹⁷²⁸. Clarence and Reva were married by Thomas Wacker, minister. Witnesses were Elma Cole and Ora V Cole. The marriage license was granted May 3, 1915.

Clarence was a prominent and respected member of the Caton, NY, community, and operated his own farm successfully. In 1930, he is listed in Corning as the foreman for a coal year. He also worked on the night shift at the Corning Glass Works as a lehr operator (annealing kiln) the last 11 years of his life.

Reva's middle name is listed in the marriage record for Clarence Richards and her.

Her obit⁴²⁴ states Reva was born in Nelson, PA. Nelson is about 2 miles north of Farmington (Tioga Co.), which is the birthplace listed on the marriage record for her first marriage. Following the death of first husband Clarence Richards (1946), Reva married second Frank Shaffer in 1964.

At the time of her death, she was survived by a sister, Mrs Arnold Thomas of Painted Post, and two nieces.
