In 1900 and 1910, George is listed with wife Isabelle. In 1920, following Isabelle's death, George and Gertrude were living next door to the family of Gertrude's father and mother. By 1930, George and Gertrude had divorced and were living just a few doors apart in that year.He was listed as a carpenter.
