In the military census, he is listed as a shipping room helper. In 1920, he was a clerk at a jewelry store, likely his father's store. Roland Walker, of Princeton, NJ, is mentioned3231 as a surviving son in his mother's 1958 obituary.
Though initially identified as the wife of R P Walker in the 1940 census, one then finds Leona Walker, daughter of Clarence and Nellie Walker, and Leona's daughters, Elaine and Doris, residing with her parents in Winchester, VA, in 1930.
