Walker is mentioned, Binghamton (NY) Press, Jun 20, 1941, as receiving a Girl Scout foot travelers badge at a picnic meeting of Troop 58 of Chenango Forks in the Chenango Valley State Park. The Binghamton (NY) Press, Mar 27, 1946, reported that Miss Doris Walker was injured when she was thrown from a convertible coupe driven by Robert Mangan, son of Frank A Mangan, when the car grazed several trees along Schubert St. She reentered the car and they drove off. Robert Mangan later reported that they had been forced to the side fo the street by another car traveling in the opposite direction.
