Married⁸⁸⁷ 1890 Mar 15⁸⁸⁷ at Vassalboro, ME⁸⁸⁷. Orrison and Etta ("of Naples") were married Mar 15, 1890, in Vassalboro, Maine.

In 1900, Orrison I Stone, born Aug 1867, wife Etta M, and son Irving O Stone, resided⁴⁹⁷⁰ at 37 Sewall St, just a few houses from the residence of Charles O Stone. Orrison and Etta had been married 10 years. Because of that proximity to Orrison's father, Orrison's birth year established elsewhere, and other records indicating that Orrison resided in Augusta before and after 1900, it is assumed that entry for Orrision Stone is the son of Charles O Stone.

In 1870, Orrison, age 3, born in Massachusetts, resided⁵⁵⁹ in the household of his grandfather, Samuel O Stone.

The 1899 obituary⁴⁹⁷¹ for Hattie (Stone) Foster mentions a surviving brother, "O. I." Stone of Augusta. The 1902 obituary⁴⁹⁷² for Charles O Stone mentions a surviving son, Orrison I Stone (of Augusta).

Etta's maiden name appears in the marriage record⁸⁸⁷ for her marriage to Orrison Stone. In addition, Etta's maiden name and birthplace (Naples, ME) appear on son Irving's birth index card⁸²⁵. Given that information, one finds Etta M Sanborn as the daughter of Warren and Lydia Sanborn in the 1880 census⁴⁹⁷⁴ for Naples, Maine.
