Clare's middle name is listed on his WWII draft registration¹⁷⁰ card.

Clare's death date is given in a legal notice⁵¹¹⁹ stating that Sadie Easterbrook was named executrix of "her husband, Clare Easterbrook of Corning, who died Aug. 28." The estate was comprised of about $5000 personal and about $10,000 real property.
