Her husband Lavon Dunaway was the son of Mr and Mrs W H Dunaway, Sr., of Nederland.
In 1986, a newspaper article5156 noted that Air Force Reserve Staff Sgt Catherine M Porter, daughter of Carl T Bideler, had graduated from a USAF medical services course at Sheppard AFB. Her husband was Air Force Staff Sgt Glenn H Porter, the son of Newton and Barbara Porter of Flat Rock, Michigan.
