Archer Graham appears4658 in the 1830 census for Perry, OH, as head of household. Assuming he is one of the 3 males, 20 to 30 years of age, in that record, he was born between 1800 and 1810. Vashtia and Archer may have had several children.
In 1850, Vashti Herrick appears836 as head of household in Mentor, OH, with 4 young children: Ervilla, age 12; Ebenezer, age 12; Alderman, age 5; and William, age 3. Ervilla was likely Alderman Merrick daughter by his first wife. As Hillman800 has Merrick's first wife's death as 1842, it's likely that Vashti was the mother of the latter 3 children.
