Boardman Veazie, Lieut., is listed in the WWII Navy Muster rolls (www.fold3.com) for the commissioning of USS LST 1075, Apr 25, 1945. He is listed in a Record of Changes for the same vessel, Mar 1, 1946.
Boardman died4088 at the age of 95, survived by his wife of 60 years; his children, Steven, Eric, Karen Stephen, and Alan; amd 7 grandchildren. His headstone840 has "Navy LT WW II"

In 1984, he was a labor lawyer (Milwaukee), of the firm Mulcahy & Wherry, advising the county board on union negotiations (Herald and Review, Decatur Illinois, Sep 15, 1984, p 11, and Nov 14, 1984, p 4). About 2010, he the UUIC (University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign) Deputy General Counsel. Other internet information indicates he is retired.
