Family of John Pray RICHARDSON and Anna VEAZIE

John Pray RICHARDSON
Anna VEAZIE b. 1774 Oct 29955 at Lincoln, MA955. d. 1802 Aug 22950 at Quincy, MA945.

Married944 1796 Feb 28944 at Quincy, MA944.

John may be the son of Benjamin Richardson and Lydia Pray who were married in Braintree, MA, Feb 11 (src 937 2:247) or Mar 8 (src 945,3796), 1764.

The marriage record for John (his full name is given) and Anna states that both were "of Quincy" and they were married by Revd Anthony Wibirt, as recorded by Nottram Vesey, Town Clerk. The intention was recorded Feb 9 (src 945 1159).

The 1800 census for Quincy ("Jno P Richardson") indicates that John may have married previously as there are males in the household too old to be Anna's children. However, 2 of the children may be Anna's.

After Anna's untimely death, John married Miss Azubah Harmon in Quincy (src 944 87) on Feb 24, 1803. That marriage was performed by Revd Peter Whitney and records by Nottram Vesey, Town Clerk. Intention Feb 6.

In Boston Church Records (americanancestors.com), Baldwin Place Church, p 70, Azubah Richardson, baptized Mar 1842, died Sep 25, 1847, possibly a grandchild of John and Azubah's?

Anna was baptized (1774) in North Parish, Braintree. She died at age 28 (src 945 2546 and src 950 1:35).
