The (Bath, NY) Advocate, Apr 10, 1895, reported that "Jason Stevens and family" were moving from Curtis (NY) to Gang Mills. As census records were often enumerated for larger communities and local post offices, it's likely that Jason and family were living near Curtis, a smaller community southeast of Campbell, and moved to Gang Mills, southwest of Painted Post and Corning. Around February of 1898, Jason purchased "a desirable home" on Wallace St, Corning, NY (Corning NY Journal, Feb 23, 1898; fultonhistory.com.)

The WWI draft registration²²¹ of son Grove Stevens lists Grove's nearest relative as Jason Stevens of Fillmore, Millard Co., Utah.

Jason died⁴⁰³⁷ at the home of his son Rush B Stevens, at the age of 81y 10m 3d. He had apparently been under the care of his son Rush, as Rush was both the informant and the physician for his death certificate.

The death index⁵²⁷ entry for Harry J Stevens lists his mother's name as "Turnbull."
