John (Dr) THAYER b. 1787 Jul 1⁹⁴⁴ at (bapt) Quincy, MA⁹⁴⁴. d. 1828 Aug 8²⁹¹⁴ at Boston, MA²⁹¹⁴.
Sarah Abbott HARDWICK b. 1800 May 23⁹⁴⁵ at Quincy, MA⁹⁴⁵. d. 1862 Sep 2²⁹¹⁶ at Roxbury, MA²⁹¹⁶.

Married⁹⁴⁴ 1826 May 23⁹⁴⁴ at Quincy, MA⁹⁴⁴.

Sarah and John were married by the Reverend Peter Whitney. John and Sarah were distant cousins. John's grandparents and Sarah's great-grandparents were Benjamin Veazie and Mary Thayer.

In both marriage and death references, he is "Doctor" John Thayer. Dr John Thayer died at the age of 41. Sprague⁸⁴¹ has deathdate Aug 4. Sprague: John and Sarah had no children.

Sarah Abbott Bartlett, dau. of Adam and Sarah (Veazie) Hardwick, died²⁹¹⁶ at "Mul. Pl., Eustis St," Roxbury, MA, at the age of 62y 9d. She was married at the time of her death.

In an 1865 affidavit⁴⁵²¹, Sarah's brother Thomas P G Hardwick said Sarah married Daniel Bartlett, and died prior to the year 1868, without issue.
