Married⁴⁵⁰⁰ 1875~⁴⁵³⁴. Benjamin and Rosalie appear in the 1865 census⁴⁵⁰⁰ in the same household. Residing with them is Benjamin's grandmother, "Polly Vizie." In the 1900 census⁴⁵³⁴, Benjamin and Rosalie are listed as married 35 years.

In 1850, 1855 and 1860, Benjamin resided^{4474 4475 4472} with his parents. By 1865, Benjamin had married⁴⁵⁰⁰ Rosalie Griffith(s), and had a son Charles, only a few months old. Benjamin's grandmother, Polly "Vizie" lived with them that year.

The marriage index⁴⁵⁴³ information daughter Carrie's second marriage to Charles H Powers lists Carrie's mother as Rosalie "Griffiths."

In 1900, Rosalie is listed⁴⁵³⁴ as the mother of 6, 5 now living.

Rosalie's death date is provided by a 1916 memorial notice⁴⁵²⁵ by the children of Rosalie Smith. That notice reads: "In Memoriam. In loving memory of Rosalie Smith, who died April 28, 1914. We think of our Dear Mother and our hearts are sad with pain. Oh this earth would be a heaven could we hear her voice again. Just two years ago she left us - how we miss her loving fare. But she left us to remember none on earth could take her place. Son and Daughters: Mrs Frank Winters, Mrs Charles Powers, Mr Milo Smith."
